Art alley is a must see. great antique stores, and lots of statues and historical sites. Also highly recommend armadillo ice cream!

Downtown Rapid is pretty solid! The president statues were sweet. Very cool to see some characteristics of each president and guess who it is while walking up to them. Bunch of paid metered parking around, free after 6.

Want something to do on a Thursday night?? Yep, me too. 7th and st Joseph is it!! The street is blocked off for concerts, dancing, food, vendors, and mingling. Adults can get wrist bands and wonder for beverages. Kid friendly event! A few stores are open to visit. Lots of fun food to eat your way through the event. My only regret....yep forgot my chair but it's ok! Always next time. A fun filled event for sure. Tonight's featured band " Flannel". A few originals and a few old school. Was fun watching people singing along.

Final day in South Dakota. Kept it simple. Did downtown rapid city. Lot's of presidents statues. Historical hotel. Pawneseum. John Glenn lense and Michael Jackson glove

Rapid City is a small town with a diverse food scene. It’s known as the city of Presidents because two artists have contributed statues of all US presidents. They can be found in Main and St. Joseph streets between 4th and 9th. Go to Beaus diner for a nice meal. The Nepalese food was good as well.
